The SP M255 model is a LCD projector from Samsung, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. A look at the light output reveals: The 2200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 272 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Samsung.
