The Samsung SP F10M is a LED-LCD projector offering 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 275 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 183 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Samsung's current product range.

After 2 years of approx. 2500 hours of use, the projector has a big problem that the colors are not displayed correctly. This is not an isolated case for me!

Projector
The projector is highly recommended. Color reproduction is 1A, and the encapsulated light path is an advantage that you won‘t find elsewhere. The brightness is stunning, there‘s nothing to complain about.

Plus
The projector is very well suited for films due to the extremely good color reproduction (RGB LEDs). The encapsulated light path makes the projector dust-resistant!
I have tested it on a gray screen and am satisfied. For films, you can also use the projector‘s interpolation, the slight blurring makes a very analog image. minus
The native resolution is unfortunately 4/3 and the zoom is small at 1.2!

Suitable as a movie projector?
The thing is probably intended as a data projector, how does it perform with movies?
Are white LEDs used or RGB?
What prompted Samsung to use light-guzzling 3 TFT-LCDs instead of 3 DLPs? Or is the difference so small that it is negligible?
The small LED projectors all have a DLP chip...
And when will it be available with Full HD? I would buy it for the €1200, but anything less than 1920x1080 in 16:9 is actually outdated for home theater purposes long before youve even bought it...
