The SP L355 model is a LCD projector from Samsung, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
