Behind the name FS33 IR 1080p is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector by projectiondesign, whose main features include 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 100000 hours – calculating to 68.5 years at four hours of use per day. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by projectiondesign.
