Known as the F22 1080p, this BrilliantColor-DLP projector by projectiondesign features basic specs of 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 at a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 528 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 352 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 24 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by projectiondesign. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
