The F1 SXGA wide model from projectiondesign combines DLP technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a native SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 464 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 309 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from projectiondesign's current lineup.
