As a projector, the Philips PicoPix PPX2480 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WVGA 854 x 480, and is additionally specified with 80 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1000:1. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. A look at the light output reveals: The 80 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 91 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 61 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Philips's current product range.
