Behind the name Screeneo U3 is a 3D-DLP projector by Philips, whose main features include 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 200000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 10000 hours for this projector's lamp, which amounts to roughly 13.7 years at 2 hours of daily use. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 42 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 2800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 359 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. With a value of only 25 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
