The Philips PicoPix PPX3417 is a LED-DLP projector that brings 140 ANSI lumens, a WVGA 854 x 480 resolution alongside a contrast of 1000:1. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 120 cm can be illuminated with 140 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 80 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Philips's current product range.
