According to Hewlett Packard, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 348 cm can be illuminated with 1600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 232 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Hewlett Packard.

I have now run my projector for 2100 hours (ECO mode only) and it shows no signs of failure or wear. It‘s mounted on my ceiling and I use it both for DVDs and as a TV replacement (always on for over 1/2 hour). The fan takes some getting used to, but it‘s great in terms of brightness...
Alright, my screen size is 2.50m by 2m with a seating distance of a good 4.5-5m.
Price-performance ratio is top, if the lamp delivers what it promises ;-)

I bought the device and am absolutely satisfied! price performance is optimal ! picture sharpness colors etc are great !!! warranty on everything incl. lamp according to hp 1 year ( i called ) eco mode 8000 hours !!! absolute buy recommendation !!!

Super part!
A great picture even in brighter rooms. As for the volume, everyone has their own opinion, I think the volume is completely ok. And for the price an absolute buy recommendation! The lamp is also top with max. 8000 hrs. function (ecomode).
