Behind the name MC425 is a Laser-LCD projector by Hewlett Packard, whose main features include 250 ANSI lumens and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. Looking at practical performance, up to 161 cm can be illuminated with 250 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 107 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
