Known as the ep7122, this LED-DLP projector by Hewlett Packard features basic specs of 1020 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. A look at the light output reveals: The 1020 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 278 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 185 cm. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Hewlett Packard's current product range.

So, I have to say that I am very satisfied with the HP ep7122. After I bought the device for about 560,00 Euro (refurbished) on ebay (warranty 3 or 6 months on lamp/device). The picture on a 2.25 m wide and 2.25 m high screen via s-video or component is really great, both with 4:3 and 16:9: Cable connection, HP ep7122 projector, Humax Fox ProO-C cable reciever and the electric ceiling screen, has cost me less than 1,000 euros. My DVD player makes the fun perfect. I can only recommend the whole thing. KRB
