The projector xp8010 by Hewlett Packard utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Hewlett Packard, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 444 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 296 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Hewlett Packard's current product range.
