The equipment of the Vivibright PDX220ST projector includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 125 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivibright.
