The PRX800UST model from Vivibright combines LCD technology in the Short Distance sector with 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Vivibright, the included lamp lasts up to 6000 hours, which amounts to roughly 8.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 90 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Vivibright. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
