The EDP X500 model is a LCD projector from Elmo, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 3200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 493 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 329 cm. This model dates back to 1977 and is no longer part of Elmo's current product range.
