The equipment of the Elmo EDP 9500 projector includes 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. According to Elmo, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 389 cm. The projector was released in 1977 and is officially no longer distributed by Elmo.
