Categorized in the Stationary segment, the WU8s projector from AVANZA projects with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution, alongside 7000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 850 cm can be illuminated with 7000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 567 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of AVANZA's current product range.
