The projector WU8 by AVANZA operates as a 3D-DLP device with 6700 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 832 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 555 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
