The Mira 4K Pro model is a 3D-LED-DLP projector from XGIMI, intended for Short Distance applications, offering 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 35 cm. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers.
