The Mira 4K is a 3D-LED-DLP projector by XGIMI, whose specifications list 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 35 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
