The XGIMI Horizon Max is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector that brings 3875 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution alongside a contrast of 100000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 632 cm can be illuminated with 3875 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 421 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
