A projector from XGIMI is the Horizon 20 Max, whose 3D-Laser-DLP model delivers 7125 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and a contrast of 20000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Distance Calculator. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. Looking at practical performance, up to 858 cm can be illuminated with 7125 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 572 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
