The PL701X is a LCD projector by Videoseven, whose specifications list 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Videoseven, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 1600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 348 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 232 cm. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
