The e • motion 4100 is a DLP projector by Liesegang, whose specifications list 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5500:1 and a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. According to Liesegang, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

I was very satisfied with it, except for the somewhat low sharpness. If we disregard the sharpness, it can easily keep up with the brand new Sharp xv-z3300. Now I have the XV-Z3300 and I‘m just as happy with it as with the eMotion 4100. The XV-Z3300 has the higher contrast and the higher sharpness, but it doesn‘t cope as well as the 4100 with fast scenes that fill the picture, there was no recognizable blurring.
