The basic data of the Kindermann KWD 220 X includes 2000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 768 as well as a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 303 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
