The equipment of the Kindermann CPD omega XV projector includes 400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 174 cm can be illuminated with 400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 116 cm. The projector was released in 1996 and is officially no longer distributed by Kindermann. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
