The Hisense 88L5 is a Laser-DLP projector that brings 2150 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 25000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 17.1 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 471 cm can be illuminated with 2150 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 314 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2021 and is officially no longer distributed by Hisense.
