As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Hisense L9H is equipped with 3000 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast of 1000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 25000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 17.1 years at 4 hours a day. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 50 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
