Based on LCD technology, the Everest RU531Xi projects images in a Whiteboard environment, with technical specs listing 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Everest, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Regarding projection size, the value of 3300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 500 cm in darkened environments. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Everest.
