The CR405Xi model is a LCD projector from Everest, intended for Short Distance applications, offering 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. According to Everest, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 92 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2021, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
