The Everest A550X is a Laser-LCD projector that brings 6000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 50000:1. According to Everest, the lamp has a durability of 20000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 27.4 years based on two hours of use per day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Everest.
