With the IPSiO PJ X6180N, Ricoh offers a LCD projector that features 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 450 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Ricoh.
