The Plus U3 880 is a DLP projector offering 800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 246 cm can be illuminated with 800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 164 cm. Since entering the market in 2000, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

I bought a used PLUS U3-880 and am very satisfied. The small dimensions and unrestricted transportability in particular are simply amazing. No wonder: the device weighs just 1.3 kg. I also got a nice little bag that comfortably holds the remote control and cable accessories. The technical specifications are also great, even for home theater. However, I use it for mobile presentation purposes! Overall, I have not regretted the purchase and say SUPER! The cost of the lamp is also reasonable (but you have to know that it only lasts about 1000 hours). That and the fact that the device gets quite hot in the long run are perhaps the only weak points that could be cited with this device (hence not full points)
