The projector M550 by Pico Genie utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 650 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 20000 hours for the LED light source. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 259 cm can be illuminated with 650 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 173 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
