Behind the name PicoMax MX 80 is a DLP projector by Lumex, whose main features include 60 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a VGA 640 x 360 resolution. According to Lumex, the lamp has a durability of 30000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 41.1 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 67 cm can be illuminated with 60 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 45 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Lumex.
