The projector PicoMax MX 60 by Lumex utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 60 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at a resolution of VGA 640 x 480. According to Lumex, the lamp has a durability of 30000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 41.1 years. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 67 cm can be illuminated with 60 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 45 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Lumex's current product range. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
