Model Overview Based on DILA technology, the DreamVision Starlight 3 projects images in a High-End Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 900 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 70000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp.
The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Distance Calculator.
A look at the light output reveals: The 900 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 305 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 203 cm.
Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content.
With a value of only 19 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by DreamVision.
