Known as the N3 Max, this projector by Dangbei features basic specs of 1250 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 at a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Regarding projection size, the value of 1250 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 359 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 239 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 27 decibels.
