The Dangbei Mars Pro 2 is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector offering 2744 ANSI lumens and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. Regarding projection size, the value of 2744 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 532 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 355 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Equipped with Google TV, the device provides direct access to a broad spectrum of streaming services. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. With a value of only 24 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.

Ive been using the projector for 2 weeks now and am pleasantly surprised. I had been using the Optoma UHD 35 and was already expecting an improvement. But I didnt expect this: great colors, really impressive sharpness, very good upscaling of HD TV programs and normal Blu-rays, quiet in operation.
The black level comes across better than the pure numerical values suggest; the electronics are good at covering this up.
I was able to get it for ?1199 and am absolutely thrilled...
