The Dangbei Atom Mini is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector that brings 1344 ANSI lumens and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 372 cm can be illuminated with 1344 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 248 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 24 decibels.
