The technical data of the Dangbei MP1 Max lists 3472 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 25000 hours – calculating to 17.1 years at four hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. To make performance data comparable based on the ISO lumen values, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. Looking at practical performance, up to 599 cm can be illuminated with 3472 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 399 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Equipped with Google TV, the device provides direct access to a broad spectrum of streaming services. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers.
