Known as the S430, this LED-LCD projector by ASK Proxima features basic specs of 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 8000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to ASK Proxima, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 94 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 523 cm can be illuminated with 3600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 349 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by ASK Proxima.
