The hardware properties of the E1600 manufactured by ASK Proxima include 6000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 1500:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 675 cm can be illuminated with 6000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 450 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by ASK Proxima.
