The 3D perception Compact HD42 is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 1800 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 4000:1. According to 3D perception, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 287 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by 3D perception.
