According to 3D perception, the Compact SX+42 model provides 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 4000:1 alongside a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by 3D perception.
