The VC2 is a projector by Steinmann, whose specifications list 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 6000 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 369 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 246 cm. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Steinmann.

The Steinmann company will be launching a new LCD projector this month. With an RRP of 1499 euros. Steinmann VC2 is a direct challenge to the competition in the home cinema segment. The 3-panel technology generates three monochrome simultaneous images of the primary colors red, green and blue. A prism superimposes these on top of each other, creating a uniform image that does not disturb the viewer‘s eye with color flashes or rainbow effects.
Steinmann VC2s offer 1800 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 600:1. According to the manufacturer, the lamp has a service life of around 6,000 hours in eco mode. Steinmann VC2 will be available in stores immediately.
