Equipped with LCD technology, the Pyle PRJHD198 offers 525 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in lumen specifications, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. A look at the light output reveals: The 525 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 91 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 61 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
