The hardware properties of the PRJ3D89 manufactured by Pyle include 700 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast value of 800:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 6000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the lumen specifications. Looking at practical performance, up to 91 cm can be illuminated with 700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 61 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Pyle.
