The equipment of the Pyle PRJG74 projector includes 72 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 with a WVGA 800 x 480 display. According to Pyle, the lamp has a durability of 30000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 41.1 years. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in lumen specifications, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 86 cm can be illuminated with 72 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 57 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
